Senior Software Developer
(Plantation, FL) Senior Software Developer position responsible for leading a development team in the designing, developing and implementing software and database solutions for construction industry clients. Specific duties include working with product management department to plan and estimate future product features and enhancements, working with professional services department and customers to discover, design and lead custom solutions to solve customer problems, act as a Scrum Master to lead a team of three developers on two week sprints following Agile Scrum Methodology, research new technologies and strategies and create prototypes to enhance product functionality; mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews, participate in all aspects of product development from design to software product release.
Must have knowledge of software architecture principles and related processes that are used for developing complex, multi-tier enterprise distributed software, excellent communication skills, and working knowledge of VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, MS Access, Javascript, AJAX and XML software development technologies.
Bachelor’s degree / foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science required and a minimum of 3 years of software analysis and design experience relating to enterprise level products required.
